This high concentration ensures exceptional longevity and a richer, more powerful scent experience.
Fragrance concentration refers to the percentage of pure perfume oils (the aromatic compounds) dissolved in the alcohol and water base. A 30% concentration is among the highest available in the perfume industry, often classified as an Extrait de Parfum or Pure Parfum. This means:
- Superior Longevity: The scent lasts significantly longer on the skin.
- Intense Sillage: The projection and trail of the fragrance are more noticeable.
- Richness: The notes of the perfume develop more fully and deeply.
Due to our high 30% concentration, Ellis & Sage London perfumes are designed for maximum wear time. On average, you can expect the fragrance to last 8 to 12 hours or more on the skin. Longevity can vary based on individual skin chemistry, application points, and environment. Longevity may be even more on the fabric which can go upto 24 hrs.
Most commercial EDPs (Eau de Parfums) contain a fragrance concentration of about 15-20%. Our perfumes contain 30% concentration. This significant difference means Ellis & Sage London fragrances are stronger, richer, and provide a substantially longer-lasting scent trail than typical EDPs.

APPLICATION & CARE
To maximize longevity and projection, apply the perfume to your pulse points. These areas generate heat, which helps diffuse the fragrance throughout the day. Key pulse points include: the inner wrists, behind the ears, the base of the throat, and behind the knees.
To protect the integrity of the 30% concentration and ensure a long shelf life, store your perfume in a cool, dark place—ideally in its original box or a drawer. Avoid direct sunlight, heat, and humidity (like a bathroom cabinet), as these can break down the fragrance oils over time.
